These models combine lightweight aluminum bowls with the same frames and overall performance as the high-end models. They have been specifically designed to deliver tone and resonance that are similar to copper bowls.

The 314II single horn features a rich, warm tone, superb flexibility, an easy response, and accurate intonation balanced through the entire range. An Eb extension tuning slide is optionally available with this instrument. Using this slide, the player can perform music written for Eb horn without having to transpose.

Wayne Bergeron is well-known on the international music scene for his ability to bring brilliant performances to a wide range of genres. Mr. Bergeron joined the Yamaha development team in 2006 for initial development of the YTR-8335LA(S) Custom model, which has now evolved to its second generation.
